By booking a cleaning service with Squeaky Kleaners, you agree to the following Terms of Service. Squeaky Kleaners provides a digital platform for clients to book various cleaning services. For inquiries regarding these terms, please contact us.

Contact Information

Labour Hour

A labour hour is defined as one hour of work by a professional cleaner. For example, two cleaners working for one hour equals two labour hours. Contact us before your service for clarity on labour hours or billing. A minimum of three labour hours is required for any hourly service.

Services Not Offered by Squeaky Kleaners

For safety and complexity reasons, we do not offer:

  • Chandelier cleaning
  • Light bulb replacement
  • Fireplace cleaning
  • Moving heavy furniture or appliances
  • Dish or pan organisation
  • Grout and silicone remediation
  • Handling biohazards (e.g., excessive mould, faeces, blood)
  • Odour removal
  • Pet hair removal from deep carpet fibres
  • Mineral deposit removal (e.g., toilet bowl stains)
  • Cleaning high-reach areas inaccessible with a two-step ladder

Rate Changes

Pricing is based on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, reflecting average cleaning time. We may re-evaluate rates if cleaning time significantly exceeds our assumptions. We will contact you to discuss price or service adjustments.

Bond Back Guarantee

  1. Confirm with your real estate agent which cleaning services are required under your lease. If any requirements are not in our bond cleaning checklist, you must:

    • (a) Select the service in the extras section of our booking form if available, or
    • (b) Notify us at booking to confirm if the requirement can be added at an additional cost.
  2. If, within 72 hours post-service, you or your real estate agent notify us that part of our services (per your booking and checklist) was not completed satisfactorily for bond release, we will re-clean those areas at no extra cost (Bond Back Guarantee). Notifications must include photographs of the areas needing attention, and we will assess cleanability.

  3. The Bond Back Guarantee excludes:

    • (a) Services not in your booking or checklist (available at https://squeakykleaners.com.au/checklist).
    • (b) Permanent damage (e.g., smoke stains, carpet stains, hard water stains, wall marks, mould, rust, grease stains, permanent odours).
    • (c) Areas deemed uncleanable in our professional opinion.

Arrival Time Windows

We provide a one-hour arrival window to account for traffic and other variables. We will inform you of delays as soon as possible.

Breakages and Loss Policy

Report breakages or loss within 24 hours. We will attempt to repair or replace items, possibly engaging professionals for repairs and handling payments directly with contractors. We are not liable for breakages or loss due to normal wear and tear or improper item assembly.

Bio-Hazards

Our cleaners avoid biological hazards and blood-borne pathogens not covered in our standard checklist. We clean around such hazards and will notify you of their presence.

Hoarding Conditions

In extreme cleaning situations beyond standard services, we may adjust rates or refuse service. A $90 booking fee may apply for refusals due to inaccurate job descriptions.

Parking Accessibility

In areas with limited parking, provide accessible parking near your entrance. If paid parking is required, we will seek your agreement and include the cost in your invoice. Lack of parking may result in cancellation or rescheduling.

Late Cancellations/Rescheduling

Cancellations or rescheduling must occur 24 hours before the service. A $90 fee applies for cancellations within 24 hours. Cancellations at the door without notice incur a full-service-price fee.

Accessibility

Ensure access to your home with running water and electricity. Interruptions from other service providers may incur a $90 fee.

Entry & Lock Outs

Provide entry instructions if unavailable to let us in. A $90 fee applies if our professionals cannot access your property.

Payments

We accept major credit cards. Charges are applied after service completion.

Safety

For safety, our cleaners do not move heavy items or clean high-reach areas.

Independent Cleaning Professionals

Our cleaners are independent contractors, not employees. We facilitate booking and payment processes.

Public Holidays

Our offices are closed on NSW public holidays, but cleaners may work. Contact us via email or voicemail for issues during holidays.

Weather and Unpredictable Events

We may cancel or reschedule services due to severe weather or unforeseen events.

Right to Refuse Service

We may refuse or cancel services due to safety concerns, property conditions, or requests beyond our scope.
