Refund & Cancellation Policy – Squeaky Kleaners

This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms under which bookings, cancellations, and refunds are handled by Squeaky Kleaners (“we”, “our”, “us”). By booking our services, you agree to the following conditions.


1. Booking Confirmation & Deposit

  • All bookings may require a deposit to secure the appointment.
  • A booking is considered confirmed only after the deposit/payment is received.
  • The deposit amount will be communicated at the time of booking.

2. Cancellation Policy

  • Cancellations are only accepted if made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled service time.

  • You may:
    • Reschedule your booking, OR
    • Request a refund of your deposit

  • The deposit is strictly non-refundable
  • This includes:
    • Same-day cancellations
    • No-shows
    • Failure to provide access

Important: This policy is enforced due to scheduling commitments and loss of allocated staff time.


3. Rescheduling Policy

  • Rescheduling is allowed only if requested more than 48 hours in advance
  • Requests made within 48 hours may:
    • Be declined, OR
    • Incur additional charges

4. No Access / Failed Entry

If our team cannot access the property due to:

  • Incorrect keys or access details
  • Client not present (when required)
  • Locked premises

5. Refund Policy

a. Service-Based Refunds

  • We do not offer automatic refunds once the service has been completed.
  • If you are not satisfied:
    • You must notify us within 24 hours
    • We may offer a re-clean at our discretion

b. Eligibility for Refund

Refunds (if any) are:

  • Assessed on a case-by-case basis
  • Only considered if:
    • The issue falls outside our standard checklist
    • The complaint is valid and verifiable

Refunds will not be issued for:

  • Change of mind
  • Minor dissatisfaction
  • Results limited by condition (e.g., stains, wear, damage)

6. Pricing Adjustments

  • Final pricing may vary based on:
    • Property condition
    • Time and labour required
    • Additional services performed
  • If the job requires more work than expected:
    • The client will be informed
    • Additional charges will apply

7. End of Lease Cleaning (Bond Cleaning)

  • We aim to meet standard real estate requirements; however:
    • Additional cleaning requested later may incur extra charges
    • Free re-clean (if applicable) must be requested within 48–72 hours

8. Service Refusal

We reserve the right to:

  • Refuse or stop service if:
    • The environment is unsafe
    • Conditions differ significantly from booking details
    • There is inappropriate or abusive behaviour

In such cases:

  • The deposit/payment will be non-refundable

9. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for cancellations or delays caused by:

  • Natural disasters
  • Weather conditions
  • Government restrictions
  • Unforeseen operational issues

10. Agreement

By booking with Squeaky Kleaners, you acknowledge and agree to this Refund & Cancellation Policy.
